Question 1

What is the cost of setting up an Industrial RO Plant and Mineral Water Bottling Plant in India?

Accepted Answer

The setup cost for a commercial or industrial mineral water plant typically ranges from ₹15 Lakhs to ₹65 Lakhs (,000 to ,000 USD) depending on the capacity (1,000 LPH to 20,000 LPH), automation level (Semi-Automatic vs. Fully Automatic Rotary RFC Monoblock), and civil BIS IS 14543 testing laboratory setup. Metavel Industries provides custom turnkey engineering proposals including P&ID schematics and ROI calculations.

Question 2

How does an Industrial Sewage & Wastewater Treatment Plant (STP/ETP) work?

Accepted Answer

A sewage wastewater treatment plant purifies industrial and municipal wastewater using primary screening, biological aeration (MBBR/MBR), secondary settling, tertiary sand and carbon filtration, and final RO/UV disinfection. This reduces BOD, COD, and TSS to compliant environmental discharge or water recycling standards (Zero Liquid Discharge - ZLD).

Question 3

What certifications are required to operate a packaged drinking water plant?

Accepted Answer

In India, commercial packaged drinking water plants require mandatory Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS IS 14543 / IS 13428) CM/L certification, FSSAI central/state food manufacturing license, State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) consent to operate (CTO), and local municipal NOC. Metavel Industries assists with full technical layout and testing lab compliance.

Question 4

What is the capacity range of Metavel Industries Industrial RO Plants?

Accepted Answer

Metavel Industries manufactures industrial reverse osmosis systems ranging from 500 LPH up to 50,000 LPH (12 m³/day to 1,200 m³/day) in SS 304, SS 316L, and FRP skids designed for borehole, river, brackish, and seawater desalination applications.

Question 5

Which machine is best for bottle shrink wrapping and packaging?

Accepted Answer

For mineral water and beverage packaging, automatic linear web sealers with shrink tunnels or high-speed rotary shrink wrapping machines wrapping 3x4, 4x6 matrix bottles in LDPE film provide the highest throughput (up to 15 to 25 packs/minute) with minimal power consumption.
